| Allocation of Resources Without Limits and Throttling and Sensitive Information in Resource Not Removed Before Reuse in the ASUS System Control Interface driver and ASUS Business Manager allow a local administrator to disclose sensitive information via crafted IOCTL requests, which, in severe cases, may lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) on the system.
Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS System Control Interface ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| LogicalDOC Enterprise up to and for v9.1.1 is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion (LFI) in the OnlyOfficeEditor servlet class, allowing authenticated user to exploit path traversal flaws in the fileExt parameter, enabling unauthorized access to sensitive files outside the designated directories. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in Menyoo 2.0 Versions before commit 729aa48: fixed in commit 729aa48 allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Spooner file management, VehicleSpawner save/folder/rename functionality, WeaponOptions save/folder/rename functionality, PedComponentChanger create folder/createfile/rename functionality. |
| The All-in-One WP Migration and Backup WordPress plugin before 7.106 does not properly sanitise a user-supplied value before using it to build a file path, allowing unauthenticated attackers to create or append a log file in arbitrary locations outside its intended storage directory. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in knowns-dev/knowns 0.11.4 via crafted folder name value to the create_doc tool. |
| Directory traversal vulnerability in knowns-dev/knowns 0.11.4 via crafted path value to the get_doc and update_doc tools. |
| Directory Traversal vulnerability in DayuanJiang next-ai-draw-io 0.4.13 allowsa remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the nex-ai-draw-io/mcp-server |
| A vulnerability in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform path traversal attacks on the underlying operating system to either read or delete arbitrary files. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.
This vulnerability is due to improper validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive files or delete arbitrary files on the affected system. |
| Impact: @fastify/http-proxy versions from 9.4.0 up to and including 11.5.0 fail to validate the resolved WebSocket destination path against the configured rewrite prefix. The WebSocket routing path in WebSocketProxy.findUpstream resolves the destination via the WHATWG URL constructor, which collapses dot segments, so a crafted upgrade request with path traversal sequences can escape the rewrite prefix and reach upstream endpoints that were not meant to be exposed by the proxy. This is a variant of CVE-2021-21322 in a code path that never went through the HTTP fix in fastify/reply-from. Exploitation requires a non-normalizing WebSocket client, since browsers and the ws package normalize the request path before sending, but raw HTTP clients or downstream proxies that forward the request target unchanged make the attack reachable in production topologies.
Patches: upgrade to @fastify/http-proxy 11.6.0.
Workarounds: none. |
| Administrator Arbitrary File Deletion in Easy Digital Downloads <= 3.6.9 versions. |
| The Demi – One Click Demo Import, WP Backup & Site Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Directory Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 0.0.7. The vulnerability exists because the plugin stores its HMAC signing key and per-step restore token as dotfiles inside a publicly accessible subdirectory of the WordPress uploads folder — without any `.htaccess` or index file protection — and the `demi_restore_step` AJAX handler, registered for unauthenticated callers, explicitly accepts possession of the on-disk signing key as a standalone alternative to WordPress capability and nonce checks; an unauthenticated attacker who retrieves the exposed key can forge a valid signed state envelope to invoke `CleanDir::execute()` with a caller-supplied absolute path that is subject to no allow-list or path-canonicalization check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to recursively delete arbitrary directories on the server. |
| The Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_sticker function in all versions up to, and including, 2.15.19. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). The prefix check intended to restrict deletion to the uploads directory can be bypassed by crafting a URL that begins with the legitimate uploads base URL but embeds ../ traversal sequences in the path portion, as the normalize_sticker function only applies esc_url_raw(), which does not strip ../ sequences, allowing the traversal payload to be stored verbatim in WordPress options. |
| wakaru is a JavaScript decompiler and unminifier toolkit. From 1.0.0 until 1.4.0, @wakaru/cli sanitizes bundle-controlled module filenames only once before writing extracted modules, so a crafted filename containing overlapping traversal sequences such as ....// collapses to ../ after sanitization and lets the final output path escape the selected output directory, allowing an attacker who can cause a user to run wakaru --unpack on a malicious bundle to write files outside that directory and, depending on the target path and environment, potentially achieve code execution. This issue is fixed in @wakaru/cli 1.4.0. |
| TinyWeb through 0.0.8 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by submitting ../ sequences in the URL path, which are concatenated directly to the configured web root in HttpBuilder::buildResponse() without normalization, dot-segment removal, or boundary checks. Attackers can craft a single request with ../ sequences that pass through the URL parser unchanged and reach the filesystem call via HttpFile::setFile(), exposing sensitive files such as credential stores and private keys when the server process runs as root. |
| Bridge is affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive files and directories outside the intended access scope. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| @hapi/inert provides static file and directory handlers for hapi.js. From 4.0.0 to 7.1.0, @hapi/inert serves static files from a directory configured with path in the directory or file handlers or relativeTo for h.file(), with confinement enforced by the confine option, but the confinement check compared the resolved absolute path against the confine directory using a raw string-prefix test, so a sibling directory such as /app/static-secret next to /app/static was incorrectly accepted and could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to read files via /..%2fstatic-secret/secret.txt. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.1. |
| VMware Avi Load Balancer contains a directory traversal vulnerability. Flaws in file path validation allow malicious, authenticated network users to perform directory traversal attacks.
Affected versions:
32.1.1 (fixed in 32.1.2)
31.1.1 through 31.2.2 (fixed in 31.2.2-2p3)
30.1.1 through 30.2.6 (fixed in 30.2.7)
22.1.1 through 22.1.7 (fixed in 30.2.7) |
| In Progress® Telerik® UI for AJAX prior to v2026.2.708, a path traversal vulnerability in the file-based persistence storage provider can be exploited when the storage key is derived from user-controlled input, enabling attacker-controlled deserialization and remote code execution. |
| Mattermost versions 11.8.x <= 11.8.0, 11.7.x <= 11.7.3, 11.6.x <= 11.6.5, 10.11.x <= 10.11.20 fail to verify file deletion path which allows an admin with SAML system-console write permissions to delete arbitrary files outside the config directory from the server via the remove file endpoint..
