CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: gadget: net2280: Fix double free in probe error path
usb_initialize_gadget() installs gadget_release() as the release
callback for the embedded gadget device. The struct net2280 instance is
therefore released through gadget_release() when the gadget device's last
reference is dropped.
The probe error path calls net2280_remove(), which tears down the
partially initialized device and drops the gadget reference with
usb_put_gadget(). Calling kfree(dev) afterwards can free the same object
again.
Drop the explicit kfree() and let the gadget device release callback
handle the final free. This issue was found by a static analysis tool
I am developing. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix query directory replay double-free
A response-bearing attempt can return a replayable error and free its
response buffer. If SMB2_query_directory_init() fails before the next send,
cleanup retains the previous buffer type and frees that response again.
Reset response bookkeeping before each attempt to prevent the stale free. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/gsc: Fix double-free of managed BO in error path
The error path in xe_gsc_init_post_hwconfig() explicitly frees a BO
allocated with xe_managed_bo_create_pin_map() via
xe_bo_unpin_map_no_vm(). Since the managed BO already has a devm
cleanup action registered, this causes a double-free when devm
unwinds during probe failure.
Remove the explicit free and let devm handle it, consistent with
all other xe_managed_bo_create_pin_map() callers.

| In affected versions of Eclipse Theia (1.8.1 and later), the browser backend exposes privileged terminal RPC over WebSocket (/services/shell-terminal, /services/terminals/:id) without service-level authentication.
WebSocket origin validation in @theia/core is fail-open: connections are accepted when the Origin header is missing or when no THEIA_HOSTS allowlist is configured (the default). The Socket.IO integration additionally replaces the real Origin header with a client-supplied fix-origin header that an attacker can control or omit.
As a result, a foreign-origin web page visited by a user with a running Theia instance can open the /services WebSocket namespace, invoke terminal creation, attach to the resulting terminal data channel, execute arbitrary OS commands, and read their output. This affects both local developer setups (drive-by attack) and hosted or tunneled deployments without strong external authentication.
A fix is in development that enforces same-origin validation by default, removes trust in the fix-origin header, gates HTTP and WebSocket access on a SameSite=Strict; HttpOnly connection-token cookie, and sanitizes shell terminal creation options. |
| A Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability was identified
in the mail template functionality of the Axway SecureTransport product in version 5.5-20260326. This
flaw
allows an attacker with admin privileges to inject arbitrary Java code expressions, which are
executed server-side when the template is rendered (i.e., during email
sending). Successful exploitation of this flaw allows an attacker to
execute
arbitrary code on the server that results in full host compromise.
This issue affects all Axway SecureTransport versions prior 5.5-20260528 update. |
| datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. From 0.14.1 until 0.60.2, the --extra-template-data comment field is rendered into Python comments in src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/TypeAliasAnnotation.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/TypedDict.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/dataclass.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/msgspec.Struct.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/pydantic/BaseModel.jinja2, and src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/pydantic_v2/BaseModel.jinja2 without neutralizing carriage returns in Python # comments, allowing an attacker-controlled comment value to inject Python code into generated models that runs when imported. This issue is fixed in version 0.60.2. |
| Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions 5.9.0 and above prior to 5.10.0, control panel users with the ability to edit entries can execute unsandboxed Twig code via the HTTP Referrer header, potentially leading to authenticated RCE. The issue happens when a user is saving entries. Strings for a signed redirect URL are being compiled as a Twig template via renderObjectTemplate(), and while a sandboxed alternative already exists (renderSandboxedObjectTemplate()), it is not used in this case. This signed URL can be specified by users, as it is reflected in the “Referer” HTTP request header, which is under attacker control. This issue has been fixed in version 5.10.0. |
| datamodel-code-generator generates Pydantic v2 models, dataclasses, TypedDict, and msgspec.Struct from OpenAPI, JSON Schema, GraphQL, Avro, Protobuf, and raw JSON, YAML, or CSV. From 0.17.0 until 0.60.2, datamodel-code-generator preserves attacker-controlled default_factory values in src/datamodel_code_generator/parser/jsonschema.py through JsonSchemaObject.init and get_field_extras and emits them into Field(default_factory=...) or field(default_factory=...), allowing Python expression execution when the generated model is imported. This issue is fixed in version 0.60.2. |
| datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. Prior to 0.60.1, GraphQL Union description values in src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/UnionTypeStatement.jinja2 and src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/UnionTypeStatement.py312.jinja2 are rendered into Python comments without neutralizing carriage returns in Python # comments, allowing attacker-controlled GraphQL schema content to inject Python code into generated models that runs when imported. This issue is fixed in version 0.60.1. |
| @nevware21/ts-utils is a comprehensive TypeScript/JavaScript utility library. Prior to version 0.14.0, the _copyProps function in lib/src/object/copy.ts uses for...in to iterate over source object properties without an Object.hasOwnProperty check, and does not filter dangerous keys (__proto__, constructor, prototype). This allows an attacker to pollute the prototype chain of all objects in the application. Version 0.14.0 patches the issue. |
| HTTP::Date versions before 6.08 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via polynomial regex backtracking in parse_date.
parse_date() matches the date string against a chain of alternative regexes, and str2time() delegates to it. Several of these patterns place unbounded quantifiers next to each other before a trailing `\s*$` anchor. A valid date prefix followed by a long interior run of digits, letters, or whitespace and a single trailing byte that defeats the final match forces the engine to repartition the run, giving polynomial (about quadratic) backtracking. A header value of a few tens of kilobytes runs for tens of seconds of CPU.
HTTP::Date parses timestamps such as HTTP `Date`, `Expires`, and `Last-Modified` headers, which commonly originate from untrusted sources. Any caller that passes an untrusted date header to str2time() or parse_date() can be driven to consume unbounded CPU, a denial of service. |
| Pivotick used plain JavaScript objects as lookup tables indexed by caller-controlled graph node identifiers in its tree-layout and cycle-detection components.
Node identifiers matching properties inherited from Object.prototype, such as constructor, toString, or __proto__, were not handled as ordinary identifiers. These values could be interpreted as existing inherited properties, resolve to values of an unexpected type, or—in the case of __proto__ assignments—modify the prototype of an internal lookup object.
An attacker who can supply graph data containing crafted node identifiers could consequently cause nodes or edges to be silently omitted, produce incorrect hierarchy levels, bypass or corrupt cycle-detection results, or trigger an exception that interrupts graph processing and rendering. This affects the integrity of graph visualisations and analytics and may cause a client-side denial-of-service condition.
The affected code also failed to safely handle edges whose source node was absent from the supplied node set. Furthermore, calculating the maximum tree depth by spreading all level values into Math.max() could exceed the JavaScript function-argument limit when processing a sufficiently large graph, resulting in an exception and denial of service.
The patch replaces identifier-keyed plain objects with Map instances, ignores invalid edges during tree construction, and calculates the maximum depth iteratively. |
| rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.10.50 until 0.10.80, CipherCtxRef::cipher_update_inplace in openssl/src/cipher_ctx.rs incorrectly sized output buffers when used with AES key-wrap-with-padding ciphers EVP_aes_{128,192,256}_wrap_pad. For a non-multiple-of-8 input, OpenSSL writes up to 7 bytes past the end of the caller's buffer or Vec, producing attacker-controllable heap corruption when the plaintext length is attacker-influenced. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.80. |
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.9 and 6.9.4.2, all implementations of FHIRPathEngine accept arbitrary FHIRPath expressions and evaluate them without input validation, and the FHIRPath functions matches(), matchesFull(), and replaceMatches() pass user-controlled regular expressions to Java's Pattern.compile() and String.replaceAll() through an incomplete timeout utility. An attacker can send a resource containing an evil regex pattern that causes catastrophic backtracking, exhausting CPU resources and causing denial of service in the FHIR Validator HTTP endpoint and affected org.hl7.fhir.* modules. This issue is fixed in versions 6.9.9 and 6.9.4.2. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/msm/dsi: don't dump registers past the mapped region
On DSI 6G platforms the IO address space is internally adjusted by
io_offset. Later this adjusted address might be used for memory dumping.
However the size that is used for memory dumping isn't adjusted to
account for the io_offset, leading to the potential access to the
unmapped region. Lower ctrl_size by the io_offset value to prevent
access past the mapped area.
