| swagger-typescript-api generates API clients for Fetch or Axios from an OpenAPI Specification. Prior to 13.12.2, src/schema-parser/base-schema-parsers/enum.ts passes components.schemas.*.enum[i] values to Ts.StringValue in src/configuration.ts without escaping before templates/base/enum-data-contract.ejs renders TypeScript enum declarations, allowing an attacker-controlled OpenAPI spec to inject code that executes when the generated module is imported. This issue is fixed in version 13.12.2. |
| swagger-typescript-api generates API clients for Fetch or Axios from OpenAPI specifications. Prior to 13.12.2, src/code-gen-process.ts createApiConfig copies servers[0].url into apiConfig.baseUrl, and templates/base/http-clients/fetch-http-client.ejs interpolates apiConfig.baseUrl into the generated HttpClient baseUrl field without escaping, allowing an attacker-controlled OpenAPI spec to inject TypeScript static field code that executes when the generated fetch client module is imported. This issue is fixed in version 13.12.2. |

This issue is fixed in version 13.12.2. |

Prior to 13.12.2, src/schema-routes/schema-routes.ts passes OpenAPI path keys through parseRouteName to templates/default/procedure-call.ejs and templates/modular/procedure-call.ejs without escaping JavaScript template literal interpolation, allowing an attacker-controlled path containing ${...} to execute when the generated method is called. This issue is fixed in version 13.12.2. |
| A Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability was identified
in the mail template functionality of the Axway SecureTransport product in version 5.5-20260326. This
flaw
allows an attacker with admin privileges to inject arbitrary Java code expressions, which are
executed server-side when the template is rendered (i.e., during email
sending). Successful exploitation of this flaw allows an attacker to
execute
arbitrary code on the server that results in full host compromise.
This issue affects all Axway SecureTransport versions prior 5.5-20260528 update. |
| datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. From 0.14.1 until 0.60.2, the --extra-template-data comment field is rendered into Python comments in src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/TypeAliasAnnotation.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/TypedDict.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/dataclass.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/msgspec.Struct.jinja2, src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/pydantic/BaseModel.jinja2, and src/datamodel_code_generator/model/template/pydantic_v2/BaseModel.jinja2 without neutralizing carriage returns in Python # comments, allowing an attacker-controlled comment value to inject Python code into generated models that runs when imported. This issue is fixed in version 0.60.2. |
| Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions 5.9.0 and above prior to 5.10.0, control panel users with the ability to edit entries can execute unsandboxed Twig code via the HTTP Referrer header, potentially leading to authenticated RCE. The issue happens when a user is saving entries. Strings for a signed redirect URL are being compiled as a Twig template via renderObjectTemplate(), and while a sandboxed alternative already exists (renderSandboxedObjectTemplate()), it is not used in this case. This signed URL can be specified by users, as it is reflected in the “Referer” HTTP request header, which is under attacker control. This issue has been fixed in version 5.10.0. |
| datamodel-code-generator generates Pydantic v2 models, dataclasses, TypedDict, and msgspec.Struct from OpenAPI, JSON Schema, GraphQL, Avro, Protobuf, and raw JSON, YAML, or CSV. From 0.17.0 until 0.60.2, datamodel-code-generator preserves attacker-controlled default_factory values in src/datamodel_code_generator/parser/jsonschema.py through JsonSchemaObject.init and get_field_extras and emits them into Field(default_factory=...) or field(default_factory=...), allowing Python expression execution when the generated model is imported. This issue is fixed in version 0.60.2. |

| Tugtainer is a self-hosted app for automating updates of Docker containers. Versions prior to 1.30.2 are vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) in the notification template feature. The `title_template` and `body_template` fields are rendered using an unsandboxed `jinja2.Environment`, allowing any authenticated user to execute arbitrary OS commands as root inside the container. Version 1.30.2 fixes the issue. |
| Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. In versions 2.0.0rc2 and above, prior to 3.3.0, the environment variables (KERNEL_XXX) used during the rendering of the Kubernetes manifest are vulnerable to Server Side Template Injection (SSTI). By including Jinja2 template expressions it is possible to execution Python code and OS Commands in the Enterprise Gateway service. The code can use or steal the Kubernetes service account token, which can steal Kubernetes secrets and be used to fully compromise the Kubernetes cluster by scheduling a privileged pod or a pod with a hostPath volume mount. This issue has been fixed in version 3.3.0. |
| Gitleaks prior to 8.30.1 contains a template injection vulnerability that allows attackers who can supply or influence report templates to read arbitrary environment variables and exfiltrate sensitive data by leveraging non-hermetic Sprig template functions. Attackers can craft malicious report templates using the env, expandenv, and getHostByName functions to extract credentials, tokens, and API keys from the host process and exfiltrate them through DNS queries, including secrets discovered during the scan itself. |
| MeltanoHub is the source code for hub.meltano.com, the central place for Meltano plugins. Versions of the repo prior to commit 923820de8f64d753951fbbd54f7282a3d5f75173 were vulnerable to exfiltration of `GITHUB_TOKEN` with write permissions to the repository. The vulnerable workflow used pull_request_target, which runs in the context of the base repository with access to secrets. Commit 923820de8f64d753951fbbd54f7282a3d5f75173 fixes the issue. No known workarounds are available. |

Prior to 15.111.0 and 16.22.0, an authenticated user with a standard operational role can trigger server-side template injection through a configuration field, resulting in unauthorized disclosure of data outside the user's normal permission scope. | Pimcore CMS/DXP version 12.3.8 contains a sandbox bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated administrative attackers to execute arbitrary methods on PHP objects by exploiting empty checkMethodAllowed() and checkPropertyAllowed() implementations in the custom Twig SecurityPolicy. Attackers can supply malicious Twig templates through the DataObject ClassDefinition Layout\Text component to perform arbitrary file reads, execute arbitrary database queries, and potentially achieve remote code execution via PHP object gadget chains, with the pimcore_* function wildcard further broadening the bypass to all Pimcore Twig functions. |
| Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a template language that makes sense. Prior to 2.4.2, banks uses jinja2.Environment() (unsandboxed) to render prompt templates. Applications that pass user-supplied strings as the template argument to Prompt() are vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI), which can lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the host system. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.2. |
| Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to 0.14.3, specially crafted issue index pattern can cause a panic when rendering, resulting in denial of service. In internal/markup/markup.go, RenderIssueIndexPattern renders the issue index pattern to a link using com.Expand, which is not safe: when the configured pattern contains an opening brace { but no closing brace }, strings.Index(template, "}") returns -1 and the subsequent slice template[:-1] triggers a panic. Once such a pattern is set, any page in the affected repository that contains an issue index reference such as #1 becomes unavailable. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.14.3. |
| FOSSBilling is a free, open-source billing and client management system. Versions prior to 0.8.0 have a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability in the template rendering system. Administrators with access to features that render Twig templates (email templates, mass mail campaigns, custom payment adapters, and the `string_render` API endpoint) can inject arbitrary Twig expressions, leading to information disclosure and remote code execution. The vulnerability exists because Twig templates are rendered without a sandbox, allowing access to the full Twig environment, API context, and the application's dependency injection container. Version 0.8.0 patches the issue. Some workarounds are available. Audit existing email templates for suspicious Twig expressions, rotate all admin and client API tokens, and/or block external access to /api/system/* at reverse proxy/WAF to mitigate chaining with GHSA-78x5-c8gw-8279. |
| JTL Shop versions 5.2.0 through 5.7.1 contains a server-side template injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious template syntax due to unsanitized user-supplied input passed to the Smarty template engine. Attackers can exploit this flaw to read sensitive server-side values such as database credentials and encryption keys, and on versions 5.4.0 through 5.7.1, leverage registered Smarty modifiers including unserialize and file_get_contents to write a webshell to the web root and execute arbitrary commands as the web server user. |
| An Angular template injection vulnerability was discovered in the Reports functionality due to improper validation of an input parameter. An authenticated user with report privileges can define a malicious report containing an Angular template payload, or a victim can be socially engineered to import a malicious report template. When the victim views or imports the report, the Angular template executes in their browser context, allowing the attacker to modify application data, or disrupt application availability. Full XSS exploitation and direct information disclosure are prevented by the existing input validation and Content Security Policy configuration. |
